THERE will be another opportunity for community-minded volunteers to help keep Tavistock clean and litter free with Tidy Tavi this Saturday (March 4).

Several people enquired about the group at last Saturday’s community information fair in the town hall and organisers are inviting anyone who was interested in joining the group or anyone who loves the town and wants to help keep it free of rubbish to go along and help out.

The group will gather outside Meadowlands Leisure Centre to welcome adult volunteers and provide the necessary equipment at 10am. There will also be an opportunity for families with younger helpers to participate, starting at 10.30am. Special routes are allocated to these family groups and suitable equipment has been procured to allow them to participate.
