ON Saturday afternoon I walked through the woods of Old Park and beside the river, where the swimming bath used to be. Three boys of about 12 or13 had made a camp and had spent Friday night there.
I walked that way again on Sunday afternoon and the boys had gone — their camp was immaculate — not so much as a toffee paper to be seen.
