THE road between Shoresgate Cross and Splatts Cross at Broadwoodkelly will be closed to through traffic for one month for SWW mains water rehabilitation works.
The closure notice comes into effect from next Monday (July 26). A diversion will be in operation from Shoresgate Cross to Cadditon Cross (A3124) along a minor road via Corstone.
Access to properties will be maintained as much as possible from one end to the other but if any problems arise contact the local services office in Okehampton on 01837 52773.
l High Street, Exbourne will be closed off outside the Old Chapel for one day next week while new mains water connections are created.
The work is taking place next Wednesday, July 28.
An alternative route will be operating from Exbourne Cross to Holebrook Cross (A3072) via Holebrook Lane and Fore Street to rejoin High Street and vice-versa.
