THE Tavistock under 8s rugby team have scored a hat-trick — winning their past three matches against the Ivybridge team. The team have played three outstanding games, winning 30-5, 30-25 and 15-10 against Ivybridge. The whole squad turned out to play and everyone of them made a valuable contribution to the matches. Support in both defence and attack really came together and it was a real team effort. The U8s showed they could play well in any conditions winning both games 7-6 against Liskeard last week, playing rugby during wind, rain and hail. l Pictured above is the Tavistock under 8s team from the first match.
