BOTH Mount House Colts' hockey teams scored good victories in their home matches against Exeter Cathedral School. Both teams played with heart and passion, and put in some solid performances. The A team fixture was a fiercely-contested affair, with Mount's William Paull managing to score the only goal off an impressive strike by team captain Jonny Massey. The Mount House defence, especially sweeper Henry Lopes, did not allow the opposition to form any meaningful attacks in the home side's D. The B team played very well, inspired by Ben Harding who had an excellent game, scoring all three goals in the 3 – 0 victory, and using his pace effectively in both attack and defence. Alex Ferguson was very strong in his role as sweeper.
