THIRTY years of caring for Tavistock's buildings and parks were recognised at a ceremony last week.
Tavistock resident Ian Lashbrook was presented with a long service award by former town mayor Cllr Robin Pike, along with a gift from his work colleagues at Tavistock Town Council's works depot.
Ken Sedgmen, deputy works superintendent, said: 'Ian is a very popular and well liked member of staff and helps out in any way he can.'
