ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club, in fabulous spring sunshine, a three ball Stableford competition was held with two scores to count for the Wilson Shield.
The winners of division two and the trophy were Chris Barker, Matt Gazzard and Martin Aggett with a tremendous 85 points. Second were Matt Cann, Nick Redman and Keith Lee with 79 from, in third, Brian Willcocks, Jim Morey and Ray Grey on 75. Winners of division one were Richard Johnson, Dave Harwood and Adrian Tilley with 85 points. Second were Phil Hobbs, Horace Floyd and Fred Scott-Lawson with 81 on the back nine from, in third, Malcolm Hill, Kevin Cornwall and Mark Wonnacott.
