GREAT fun was had and money raised at the Hatherleigh Country Fair on Saturday, which was held in aid of the Exeter Leukemia Fund. The fair, at the Old Station House, was full of fun activities for everyone to enjoy, including archery, face painting and the chance to try the bucking bronco. Malcolm Roker from the Exeter Fund said the day had gone ?fantastically well? and raised in excess of £5,000. The money will directly benefit leukemia sufferers and will be spent on equipment, health and patient care. The event was very popular and the fund expressed thanks to all who attended, and especially to the Hon Susie Lascelles who organised most of the day.
