TAVISTOCK Thistles FC organised a trip to Villa Park to see Aston Villa play Arsenal in the premiership.
Two Down?s coaches fully loaded with children and supporting parents left Tavistock early on Saturday and headed to the Midlands. The ground was full to capacity and both teams fielded their best available sides. This gave the Thistles players the opportunity to see, first hand, the movement, control and pace of players like Theiry Henry and Freddie Lunberg.
The result was a 1-1 draw on the pitch and a great day out for the children.
