Motel and Offwell 2nds 5

Okehampton 3rds 2

OKEHAMPTON scored two quick goals after 25 minutes of scrappy football. The first was from a corner, taken by Jerome on the left, which found Chris Drew at the back post. He rose above two defenders to head home from close range.

Okehampton's second was a largely individual effort from Chris Drew who received the ball just outside the area, slipped past one defender and calmly slotted it past a floundering keeper at his near post.

Okehampton then saw their lead disintegrate in the space of five minutes. Both goals were well taken and from a similar distance out, giving keeper Neil Clift no chance.

Okehampton were unlucky not to have finished the half 3-2 up after a Tom Reilly free-kick 25 yards out crashed against the crossbar.

The second half saw Motel dominate.

Three more goals followed. but the scoreline for Motel could have been eight or nine if it was not for man of the match Wilson, who time and time again came to Okehampton's rescue with sensational defending.
