Plymouth Marjons 0 Tavistock Men's thirds 2 TAVISTOCK started well with the midfield of Johnson, Curnow, Doney and Ludwig controlling the flow of the ball with short incisive passes. Up front Richards was using the spaces well, and his creative running allowed a chance for Cowen Junior but his shot went just wide. Marjons worked well to try and create chances at the Tavistock end but the defence of Cowen Senior, Tosdevin, Glanville and Miller kept things under control with Roberts only having to make one save in the first half. Tavistock finally got the goal their play deserved, when Richards crossed the ball into the D to Doney, who rifled the ball past the stranded Marjons keeper. Marjons started the second half well and Roberts had to pull of some excellent saves. With Marjons getting frustrated, Tavistock slowed the pace of the game and after a Marjons player was sent off Tavistock stole a second goal. Good work by Ludwig down the right wing allowed him space to slip a pass to Cowen Jnr who took one pace into the D before blasting it past the advancing keeper.
