CHILDREN from Callington showed their ‘eggs factor’ this Easter — to win eggs.
The youngsters competed to come up with the best Easter egg design, with winners Fearne Brett, Holly Smith and Noah Mitchell each being presented with an egg from Tesco.
Eight-year-old Fearne Brett said: ‘I did my Easter egg because I like drawing and I like chocolate. I did a card like that at school.’
Holly Smith, aged nine, said: ‘I entered the competition because I like drawing and colouring — and I like Easter eggs. I did my design because I saw one on a card and really liked it.’
Alan Woollcombe from Tesco, who presented the prizes, said: ‘We had lots of entries. They were all so good, it was very hard to choose the winners.’
