AFTER holding auditions for more than 20 children at the beginning of the month, Tavistock Musical Theatre Company has found the star for its upcoming production, Oliver!
Horrabridge Primary School pupil William Alcock, 11, has been cast as the leading role of Oliver for the show.
William has been taking ballet and tap lessons for two years and spends his spare time singing and dancing.
He also loves to ride his pony and will be off to Tavistock College in September.
The company has also cast 12-year old Selwin Teague from Milton Abbot as the Artful Dodger.
Selwin has a passion for acting and says this is going to be his biggest challenge to play Dodger.
Tavistock Musical Theatre Company will be presenting Oliver! at the Wharf from October 25 to 29
