A GROUP of talented young performers from All Out Performing Arts took to the stage outside Tavistock Town Hall to warm up the crowds for the Tour of Britain 'Tavy Tour Party' last week.

They sang a selection of songs specially written for this year's All Out Summer School and delighted the audience with their professionalism and energy.

Julian Barnicoat, All Out artistic director, said: 'Most of us aren't at our best at that hour of the morning, so even we were surprised to see our students really going for it — we were very proud of them all'.

The performers, all from local schools were determined to make an impact and support such a worthwhile event and also show everyone the level of talent in the region.

'We have agreed to follow this by stepping up our public appearances,' said Julian. 'It's a great experience for our students and really helps develop their performance skills.
