The Times is a friend indeed

A BIG thank you to the Tavistock Times Gazette. You are becoming a valuable friend we cannot afford to lose!

Last week Derek displayed the ambulance for Congo, Africa in Bedford Square to raise funds to send containers to the war zone there to help thousands of wounded.

Several townsfolk stopped to ask if it was the ambulance written about in your paper. When assured it was, they put a five pound note into the tin.

Over £130 was contributed. We are around £2,000 toward the £7,000 cost of sending the container.
