OKEHAMPTON Carnival Committee is looking for boys and girls to enter their prince and princess competition for 2006. Couples must be between the ages of four and eleven on carnival day. Entries are also open for the carnival queen. Entrants should be 12 years or older on carnival day. Entries for either competition should be handed to Krafty Cards, in Red Lion Yard, or J C Books in the Arcade, by Friday, May 19. Please give names, ages, addresses and contact telephone numbers of all entrants. Parents must indicate consent by signing the entry of any child under 16. The committee will be happy to offer any advice regarding the construction of a float if required. Parents should be aware that attendance at other local carnivals will be expected.
This year?s Okehampton Carnival takes place on Saturday, October 22.
