A WEST Devon visitor attraction has successfully launched as a venue for team-building and training seminars using its recently-opened training facilities.
Morwellham Quay, the restored historic copper mine and port in the Tamar Valley, just outside Tavistock, opened its new training facilities last month.
Commercial manager of the quay, Bryan Rising, said one advantage of Morwellham was that it offered training facilities away from the city or the hotel environment, and this could explain why two large Plymouth-based companies had recently chosen it for team-building sessions. Mr Rising said the expansion of training provision at the site had been planned since last summer.
