The patient is doing fine

MAY I through the letters section of your newspaper, express my sincere thanks to the local emergency services for their excellent response to my wife's unfortunate accident at the weir, River Tavy, Tavistock, on Tuesday, June 26.

My gratitude to the kind gentleman who rendered 'first aid' and the kind persons who alerted the emergency services.

I am greatly indebted to the crews of the ambulance and fire service, the police and staff at the Tavistock A and E. I thank them for their care and kindness, the patient is doing fine.
