FIREFIGHTERS in Hatherleigh will be climbing the ladder of success for 24 hours to raise money for charity.

The 24-hour ladder climb will start at 8pm on Friday, June 21 at the fire station in Mill Meadow, Bridge Street.

The team will relocate to the Co-operative on Saturday morning before returning to the station to finish the climb.

The firefighters will climb in pairs in two-hour stints over the entire 24-hour period, to raise money for the Fire Fighters' Charity.

People are welcome to come along, lend their vocal support and make a donation to the charity.
