I READ with interest the headline of your newspaper thinking that Mr Taylor and First Bus had repented.
No, they had not.
The public meeting with Mr Burnett and the mayor was a waste of time for the public.
The mayor, Mrs Metcalf, is right, the only situation is to reinstate the 84 bus fully, thus not leaving people attending appointments at Derriford hospital in the middle of the moor at Yelverton. For, we all know, buses don?t always run.
As for Cllr Connelly thanking them for all the bus company had done on the 84 route ? what had they done? Nothing.
Cllr Connelly should remember he serves the public not the bus company.
Elections are coming.
