THE Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is teaming up with local artists Shadow Play next week, to explore the local legend of Tamara, which tells the story of how the River Tamar came to be, through shadow puppets.

There will be two workshops on Tuesday (October 25) between either 10am and noon or 2pm and 4pm at Calstock Village Hall. The workshops are suitable for children aged seven upwards.

There is a small fee of £3 payable on the day for materials and refreshments.

The young creators and their guests will be invited back to Calstock Village Hall on Wednesday (October 26) at 3.30pm for the shadow puppet performance.
