The South West Chamber Choir will present 'The Fire Celestial' in St Eustachius' Church, Tavistock, on Saturday, April 20 at 7.30pm.

Directed by Stephen Trahair, 'The Fire Celestial' is a concert of sacred choral music by Renaissance and Baroque composers, given in aid to Plymouth and West Devon Cassette Talking Newspaper for the Blind.

The programme includes choral music with a capella and instrumental-only items. It is accompanied by the Tavistock Chamber Ensemble Leader, Elisabeth Holman-Sturtridge and Dr Sean Sweeney on the harpsichord and chamber organ.

The programme includes the 'Miserere' by Allegri, Pergolesi's 'Magnificat' and works by Bach, Handel, Purcell, Tallis and more.
