TAVISTOCK and District branch of the RNLI held their annual coffee morning in the Parish Church Hall on Friday, November 8 which raised the sum of £350, which considering the wet conditions was very good.

The committee wish to thank Morrisons Supermarket, Edinburgh Woollen Mill, Allan Dolan, Continental Fruits, Tavistock, Boots the Chemist and the Cooperative Market Street, who generously donated raffle prizes, and for the many private donations received.

The committee appreciated all the work carried out by members and friends who helped run the event and the public for their continued support.

The branch's annual dinner will be held at Tavistock Golf Club on Saturday, February 8, 2014, and anyone interested in attending is asked to contact Jane Huxtable on 01822 615027 as soon as possible.
