ON behalf of the Royal Marines' Association, Tavistock, a big thank you to all the shoppers at Somerfield and Morrisons Tavistock, and Yelverton, on April 2.

We raised the sum of £1,446.13 for our charity, the Royal Marines' Charitable Trust Fund.

Once more this proves how people understand the danger and hardship British servicemen and women face in the world.
