THE fundraising team from Children's Hospice South West (CHSW), local charity partner for the recent Plymouth Half Marathon, would like to thank everyone who ran the Plymouth Half Marathon on April 19 in aid of the children's charity. Almost 200 runners at the half marathon ran in aid of CHSW and the charity hopes to raise £25,000 in sponsorship from the event, bringing the total raised over the last four years from that event to around £100,000. Both individuals and teams of runners took part, including a team of nine runners from Perring Properties in Bodmin. We are so grateful to everyone who took part in the Plymouth Half Marathon raising money for CHSW. We really do appreciate all of the hard work in training and fundraising that goes into something like this and we are absolutely delighted to have almost 200 runners who were part of Team CHSW. Runners are now encouraged to send in their sponsorship money to Little Harbour as soon as possible.
