ON Tuesday this week (August 1) the Wharf Arts and Entertainment Centre in Tavistock went under new ownership but we, the retiring directors, cannot go without a last word. For more than a decade we have been privileged to receive valuable loyal help and support from so many people to whom we now express our deepest gratitude. The journey has not always been easy but without each and every one of you it would have been impossible. It would be difficult to list everyone but if ever you have helped at the Wharf then you have helped to make it what it is today, West Devon?s Number One Arts and Entertainment Centre. Our departure is tinged with some regrets for we will miss being involved with all the many friends we have made over the years. However, we feel confident that, with your continued support to the capable new directors, a wonderful and exciting future lies ahead for the Wharf. Again, our most sincere thanks to you all.
