I WOULD like to thank all those who supported our day of yoga to raise funds for victims of the tsunami: the Tavistock Guides, who lent us the hall free of charge, Randell Cox for the flowers, and the yoga teachers, Jana, Joanna, Lyn and Christine, who gave up precious family time to come and take the classes. We raised £370 which is going to Seruthur Village in Tamil Nadu, India. The WestDen Rural Links project are distributing the funds. Many thanks too, to all the lovely people who attended the day. Unfortunately, as the local depots became full, we regretfully had to close our own collection early. The many goods were taken to Exeter prior to being taken to London and then shipped out. Thank you also to the Lions Club for their help and our own troop for distributing black bags and collecting. We will keep you informed of any further collections.
