THROUGH your letters page the organisers of this year's Tavistock Food Festival would like to express their gratitude for the financial support they have received from Tavistock Town Council, TaVi (Tavistock and Villages Initiative) and West Devon Borough Council.
This year's Food Festival will be held on Morwellham Quay on Saturday September 12 and Sunday September 13. There will be upwards of 50/60 South West regional food producers offering everything from oysters to eggs, fruit to cheese, cider to fruit juice.
A special bus service will depart Tavistock on the hour to Morwellham to ensure easy access for Tavistock residents and visitors. Morwellham itself has ample car parking and within easy walking distance of the Festival venue.
Morwellham Quay will be open to all festival visitors and will be an ideal, low cost family day out. Full details can be found

I WOULD like to say a big thank you to all those involved in the Christian Aid week in May. Through the generosity of the people in Tavistock and Whitchurch, we raised £2,932 — well done.
