MAY I, in your pages and on behalf of the Lions Club of Tavistock, thank all the residents, businesses, schools and organisations in Tavistock for making carnival a success again this year. Our thanks also to our sponsors, advertisers and transport suppliers for their valued contributions to our events.
We receive fantastic support for the carnival every year, but I would particularly like to acknowledge the Times for the coverage of
our events and
the continued encouragement from the mayors of Tavistock and of West Devon Borough.
On a personal note I would like to thank all my fellow Lions for their hard work, dedication and support over the last few weeks.
