I AM writing regarding the recent coffee morning held at 36 Brook Street, Tavistock.
I would like the various helpers and interested friends to know that the sum of £218 was raised for this.
The money is for the work of the Salvation Army in India particularly among children and young adults.

WE would like to thank everyone who made a donation to the National Asthma campaign outside Somerfield last Friday and Saturday April 2 and 3.
Thanks to your generosity we collected the magnificent total of £196.76.
We would also like to thank Mr Feakins, the manager of Somerfield, for his kind permission in allowing us to use the site and Barbara Osborne for her co-operation.
