WE would like to thank everyone who has supported us during 2010, when we were raising funds for the Parkinson's Nurses Fund (Parkinson's UK).
We have in total sent £928.04 this year, and our latest contribution was £518.04.
Many people are unaware of the nurses fund, but these special nurses work with individual patients who need them, much as Macmillan Nurses support cancer patients.
Hopefully, with your continued support we will raise more funds this year. Also, we would like to raise the profile of these dedicated nurses.
Thanks also to pannier market staff for their help and consideration especially after surgery on my arm (more to come).
You will find us in the market on the first Saturday of each month. Mrs Downs, of Bere Alston, was the winner of the Bride Doll.
