I WOULD like to thank everyone who supported our recent street collection for National Children?s Hospice Week. The grand sum of £292.25 was raised. This will be forwarded to Little Bridge House, our local children?s hospice.

Thanks also to Somerfield for allowing us to make our collection at their store. Somerfield has adopted the National Children?s Hospice movement as their charity for the forthcoming year.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Jill Farwell, founder of the Children?s Hospice South West. She was a remarkable lady and will be sorely missed. The greatest tribute we can offer is to fulfil her ambition to open a second children?s hospice in the region. Any donations in Jill?s memory can be sent to Little Bridge House, Redlands Road, Fremington, Barnstaple.
