LAMERTON'S tetrathletes continued the club's good run in this discipline at the Pony Club National Tetrathlon Championships at Hartpury in Gloucestershire this weekend.

Adam Sandercock shot well, achieved almost 14 lengths in his swim to be awarded best swim in the open boys' class and on the Saturday rode really well over the exceptionally demanding championship cross country course to go clear and be awarded the best ride rosette. On Sunday he then ran well and came eighth individually overall.

Kennan Fowlie shot well despite having difficulties with his gun, swam well, then had a reasonably successful ride given his relatively inexperienced horse. Kennan finished with a good run while the third member of the mixed Lamerton team Becca Potter shot and swam well, then produced a second clear round ride for the team for another best ride rosette, finishing with a solid run time.

Overall the team came fifth with a sound performance in all phases and can be really pleased with the end result.
