OKEHAMPTON Seven District Lions Club President, Lion Kevin Pedrick, presented a cheque for £3,000 to Childrens Hospice South West's founder Eddie Farwell and area fundraiser Emma Perry recently.

The money was the result of the Okehampton Lions 18th annual Golf day held in aid of Children's Hospice South West at Okehampton Golf Club.

More than 100 golfers took part in the four ball stableford event.

The Lions expressed thanks to all those who took part, the sponsors, Okehampton Golf Club, and all who donated prizes for the Grand Draw.
