A MAJOR milestone has been achieved by West Devon Homes and its tenants.
The company celebrated on February 22, marking its tenth anniversary since more than 1,400 homes from West Devon Borough Council were transferred to it.
Liz Steele, who has been chair of West Devon Homes since 2004, said: 'Tenants are now heavily involved with the work of the company and as a result are listened to.
'Now we have tenant and resident groups, the tenant panel, the think bank and three tenants on the board of management — all are striving to improve standards and are working alongside staff to do so.'
She expressed her thanks to past and present tenants, board members and staff.
