n FOR the intrepid participants in this year's Ten Tors challenge the long, circular trek across Dartmoor, any thoughts of aching limbs, cold nights and finding their way, would soon be forgotten as they left Okehampton Camp.
There were 400 groups of six each who tackled either the 35, 45 or 55 mile courses and among them were many local West Devon teams.
Pictured right at the start leaving the camp is this group who are flying the flag as they make their way across the moor.
