K CORNWALL, G Holt, D File Jnr and J Haslem had a victory over Libbatton Golf Club at Okehampton Golf Club on Sunday in the Mail on Sunday competition.

The match finished all square at 2 points each, so the fourth player had to play off. J Haslem won on the first play off hole with an excellent 4.

Thirty-six teams took part in Saturday's three ball team stableford all three to count competition for the John Norman trophy.

Results: trophy winners with a score of 109 points were K Cornwall, J Tolley and S Wilson. Second with 108 points, G James, P Matthews and R Pedrick. third with 102 points, M Lang, W Phillott and A Deakin.
