A CHANCE at winning a £100 prize can be had this Sunday (May 21) when a total of 600 golf balls are released in Hatherleigh. The race will be held at the junction of Market Street and Bridge Street at 3pm ? the first golf ball to reach the bottom of the hill wins the prize. Golf balls can be bought for £1 from Hatherleigh Rotary Club?s Paul Martin on 07879 846881. The event is in aid of Hatherleigh Pre-School Play area at the New Community Centre, and other worthy causes.
