Tavistock RFC U15s 37 North Dorset RFC U15s 0 THIS was an excellent all round team performance by Tavistock in which Bob Finbow was a deserved man of the match. The first half started with both teams making probing runs. Tavistock opened the scoring after a lineout catch by Josh Leeson and drive by Joe Hair saw the ball worked across the pitch and back again for Mark Friend to break through and offload for Dan Oner to score in the corner. The second try came after good work by Elliot Northmore and George Harold enabled Mark Friend to weave through the defence to touch down. After a series of scrums and lineouts, good handling saw the ball fed to winger Jack Bond who outpaced the defence to score. The home side's confidence was now soaring and the visitors were struggling to contain them. After Bob Finbow made a driving run over halfway, the ball was fed along the line by the backs to Oner who outstripped the defence to score. A cross field run and hack up the line by Oner enabled Friend to gather the loose ball for his second try. A high ball back into the visitors' 22 created a ruck where good, quick ball enabled the backs to work the ball across the pitch for Friend to go into the corner for his third try. The final try came after a recycled ball was fed along the line and Sam Lindsey broke from halfway to score under the posts.
