RESIDENTS at a newly opened luxury living home for the retired in Lamerton recently enjoyed a very special afternoon tea and Champagne in the company of the town's Mayor, Cllr David Whitcombe.

The mayor, who opened Camplehaye House last week, expressed his delight that such a facility is now on offer for retired residents of West Devon.
