ALBASTON Knit and Natters will be holding a thanksgiving tea and music event on July 9 in memory of one of their members, Anne Ball, who died recently at the age of 49.

The event is to celebrate Anne's life and to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

Local band 'Yorkie' will be playing in the Albaston Millennium Green, entrance by donation, and the Tamar Valley Methodist Church will be open for a variety of stalls and cream teas.

Knit and Natter ladies will be running ten miles the following day for Cancer Research UK and will be hoping to boost their sponsorship at this event.
