TAWTON started out second best for the first 20 minutes, then took the driving seat, playing the ball all around the pack.

On the half hour Rob Board crossed in a blinding ball to the far post for Michael Tapp to head back to Simon Bolt, whose thunderbolt shot from 20 yards left the keeper no chance.

Five minutes later Rob Board played another nice ball to Paul Burrows, who hit a ten yard accurate shot to the bottom left hand side of the goal.

In the second half Tawton kept control of the game. Patience paid off, with the third goal coming from good build-up. Ashley Arscott?s shot was blocked, but Dean Rice was on hand to put Tawton 3-1 up and secure three points for Tawton?s fighting victory.
