THE Tavistock community paid its respects to the war dead during the town’s annual Remembrance Sunday parade.

Marching to the music of the Stannary Brass Band, the parade walked down Plymouth Road to Bedford Square for a service to remember those who gave their lives in war.

The event included representatives from the Royal British Legion, the Royal Marines Association, the Scouts Association, cadets, Tavistock Rotary Club, Tavistock Lions, town crier David Turner, West Devon mayor Jeff Moody and town mayor Philip Sanders.
