AT Tavistock Tennis Club the fifth and sixth rounds of the Plymouth and District Tennis League have been played and the newly formed mens' F team has won its first match of the season.

Division two, Mens B (Phil Harbottle and Max Goodison, Tony Du'Gay and Gareth George) v St Budeaux B (home) lost 4-6, pts 24; (Tony Du'Gay and Gareth George, Max Goodison and Paul Newton) v Plymstock A ( away) lost 3-7; pts 27.
Division three, Mens C (Bernard Mowle and Ray Hinton, Rick Read and Charles Snow) v Tavistock D (away) won 5-4, pts 28; (Ray Hinton and Pete Rodgers, Phil Snell and Rick Read) v Hill Lane A (away), lost 0-8; pts 28.
Mens D (Will Sparkes and Paul Newton, John Stuart and Bill Sparkes) v Tavistock C (home), lost 4-5, pts 20; (Bill Sparkes and Charles Snow, John White and Matt Smith) v Ivybridge C (away), draw 4-4, pts 24.
