A J Gawman and G Ruth beat S Shury and P Hill 3/2; J Ruth and C George were two up over M Davis and M Fennell; J Gynne and A Coe beat M Pedlar and A Denton 3/2; W A Reed and M Beveridge lost to R Stanton and R Almond 1 up; and K Mackenzie and R Brockington lost to C Irwin and W Jenkins 1 up.
