THE president of the Lions Club of Tavistock Richard Jones has presented cheques to three local charities.

The money was raised through last year’s Christmas draw, which raised £1,700 mainly through the first prize of a painting of Tavistock by Rozanne Bell, donated by Tavistock Picture Framing Gallery.

The Lions presented cheques to the Mary?Budding Trust, Children’s Hospice South West and Whitchurch Pre-School.
