A REARRANGED game, due to last years snow, proved a welcome beginning to Tavistock's new years league programme.
Plymouth Marjons B were the visitors, who began lively with some good interplay, marginally outplayed by Tavistock.
As the half progressed, Tavistock took the ascendancy, with a strong structure and passing, creating many chances and resulting in two goals by Marchant and Cohen.
The second half found Marjons battling to level up the contest, creating space and opportunities for the home team.
Free-flowing attacking and movement from Tavistock's midfield and forward line proved too much for Marjons, as they shipped six goals from open play, ending up with a convincing 8-0 win — goals coming from MacMannus (2), Cohen (2), Edwards, Marchant, Holland and Doney. Josh Cohen was the man of the match in an excellent team performance.
