TAVISTOCK returned to their winning ways and the top flight of the league with a 3-1 win.
They had Dart on the wire from the first whistle and Doney soon hit the bullseye with a well-flighted flick past the keeper. Shortly after, following some great interplay, Doney made it a double. The umpires ensured both teams experienced a bit of bully, something rarely seen in the modern game.
An excellent finish to an impressive first half performance was topped by an arrow-like run from Damian Heard, resulting in the third goal.
The second half began slower for Tavistock, with Dart being gifted an early reply. However, Tavistock continued to battle, with some great performances from S Marchant, Heard and Josh.
The improved team structure continued to create a number of chances during open play, ending in a well deserved win.
