A SUM of £1,800 was raised by a concert at St Eustachius’ Church in the summer.

Following an invitation from the Tamar Valley Male Voice Choir  (TVMVC) to a joint concert, Plymouth Military Wives Choir performed at the church in June to a packed audience. 

‘It was a wonderful evening singing alongside our friends from TVMVC,’ said a spokeswoman for the military wives choir. ‘Our members were looked after very well by our hosts and treated to a fabulous buffet supper.

‘We were thrilled with the invite and hugely gratified with the recent donation from funds raised at the concert of £800 to Plymouth Military Wives Choir and £1,000 to SSAFA Plymouth.’

Plymouth Militray Wives Choir has benefited in many ways with help provided from SSAFA Plymouth since the choir formed in April 2011.
