Tavistock striker Liam Prynn scored the vital penalty that secured a 1-0 victory over a stubborn Ashton and Backwell side, crowning the Lambs the winners of the Toolstation Western League.

The title race went down to the final moments of the season, with Tavistock and Exmouth Town only separated by a single goal on goal difference going into the final day.

Exmouth could only manage a 0-0 draw on the final day vs Shepton Mallet, handing Tavistock the title following a game decided on narrow margins at Langsford Park.
